The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on a slight W facing slope with good views in all directions. Depicted on the 1840 0S 6-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped area enclosed by a bank. It is not depicted on the 1897 OS 25-inch map. No surface remains visible today. An Archaeological Impact Assessment conducted as part of a planning application (Galvin 2007) found no trace of the monument. Cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 19/11/2019 represents the N enclosing element of the monument.
