In graveyard (LI012-03602-). Site of C of I parish church of Kildimo, described by Lewis (1837) as a 'small and very neat, was rebuilt in 1705'. According to O'Donovan this occupies site of ancient parish church (OSL vol. 1, 60-1; Westropp 1904-5, 386).
Westropp gives the following details on Kildimo; 'A parish in Kenry. Diomma (son of Cass, king of Munster), c. 450, was of Cill Dioma, in Caenraighe, May 12th, c. 480. Kelldima, 1201; Kildyme, 1302. In 1358 David Dencourt held Kildim perpetual vicarage, which, on his death, 1363, was granted to John Pastyn, a poor priest (Cal. Papal Petitions, iii., pp, 329, 398);
Kildyma, 1418 ; Kyldymma in Kenryhurragh, 1586 (Peyton, p. 217); Kildimo, with Killecollum, Kilcurrely, Killasuragh, and Killenarrigie, in Kenry, granted 1666 (Act. Sett.), Map D.S. (B), 16. Site - Modern I. C. church on the old site' (Westropp 1904-5, 386).
In 1840 the church site was described as 'The site of the original church of this parish is occupied by a small rude protestant church and there is nothing in the churchyard to attract the notice of the antiquarian' (OSL vol. 1, 60).
Described by the ASI in 1996 as no surface remains visible. A 19th century C of I church was subsequently built on the site, which has now been demolished. A modern house, the gable of which is c. 4m outside the W boundary of the present day graveyard, appears to occupy the footprint of the 19th century protestant church. This house is clearly evident on Digital Globe aerial photographs taken 2011-2013 and Google Earth orthoimage taken 29/03/2019.
