The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on slight S facing slope with good views in all directions , 50m SE of ringfort (LI012-018----). Present remains consist of a raised roughly circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 30m) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.9m; base Wth. 4m) with intervening fosse (base Wth. 2.1m) and a possible outer bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.55m; base Wth. 4.7m). The fosse has been infilled in many areas while a relic stone wall runs along the line of the outer bank or stone wall. The overgrown interior is level. The site is visible as a heavily overgrown monument on Google Earth orthoimage 19/11/2019.
