The National Monuments Service's description
19th century Church of Ireland church (LI011-022---) stands in centre of graveyard which appears to be 19th century in date. Westropp (1904-5) suggested that the present C of I church was built on the site of the medieval church of Kilcornan but there is no evidence to support this suggestion. Graveyard (LI011-019----) 175m to SW more likely location for the medieval church and graveyard of Kilcornan.
