19th century C of I church and medieval church ruins (LI011-092004-) dedicated to St. Mary stands in NE quadrant of Askeaton graveyard which consists of a sub-rectangular-shaped area (approx. dims. 87m N-S x 65m E-W) enclosed by a post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate at N.
