In gently undulating pasture, in area of outcropping limestone. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been partially levelled. Enclosing site ENE->SSW is earth-and-stone bank (H c. 0.7m) which forms part of surrounding field boundary system. From SSW->NW it is defined by indistinct scarped edge (H 0.4m; Wth 3.7m). There is no enclosing element apparent NW-ENE, where ground very uneven due to limestone outcropping. Roughly circular enclosed area (30.5m E-W) is under pasture broken in places by limestone outcrops.
