The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope, in area of outcropping limestone. Circular area (23.6m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.9m), best preserved NW->SE. Bank clipped by dry-stone field boundary SE->S; this meets N-S field boundary short distance to W so that site occupies SW corner of field. Bank, poorly defined S->NW, dips at WSW (Wth 5m). Interior, covered with briars and whitethorn bushes, dips gently down to S.
