The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, atop hill, in area of outcropping limestone. Ovoid area (12.5m N-S; 26.6m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.1m) NNW->ENE and almost linear scarped edge (H 1.5m; Wth 3.25m) SE->W; no enclosing element evident ENE->SE and W->NNW. Interior covered by mature trees and surface is heavily poached by cattle and strewn with stones.
