The National Monuments Service's description
On S side of Greenish Island, in pasture, near the confluence of the River Deel and the River Shannon. Monument visible as a D-shaped area (approx. dims. 37m E-W x 31m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank on S promontory of Greenish Island with large enclosure (LI010-045----) 85m to N. Outline of monument clearly visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthophotos taken 20/10/2010.
