The National Monuments Service's description

In rocky pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. In SW corner of field arc of earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.35m; Wth 4m) N->SE appears to be remains of circular enclosure truncated on W and S sides by field boundaries; area enclosed by bank and field boundaries (31.6m N-S; 7.2m E-W) roughly D-shaped. Site partially overgrown with bushes and there is much stone strewn about derived from eroding bank. Known locally as "a fort".
