The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating pasture, atop low rise on general E-facing slope. Rectangular slightly raised area (46m N-S; 42.9m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 2.1m); scarped edge N-> SE with external fosse (D 0.7m; Wth 3m) SE->NE. Field boundary along outer line of fosse SW->NE. Enclosing element on N side largely obscured by dense overgrowth; elsewhere covered with trees but accessible. Interior level and under grass.
