The National Monuments Service's description
In level marshy area with rock outcropping, largely covered by clumps of gorse and bushes. Roughly oval area (16m NE-SW; 11m NW-SE) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.4m). Gap in bank at W (Wth 6m) where surface limestone has been quarried (D c. 0.4m). Most of enclosing bank obscured by dense overgrowth on N side. Interior surface very uneven due to dumping of up-cast from quarry.
