The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating pasture, on E-facing slope of low rise. Circular area (34m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.8m) with external fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.5m). Some trees grow on bank but otherwise site free of overgrowth. Wide breach in bank (Wth 4.5m) at E corresponds with absence of fosse, suggesting entrance which has been widened to allow cattle access interior. Interior dips down gently towards centre, and is under grass.
