The National Monuments Service's description

Church 'on the west angle' of Loghill parish (Westropp 1904-5, 398) listed in 14th century rental and 17th century terrier (ibid.). According to Westropp exact location of site 'forgotten in townland' (ibid.) but recent discovery of 'a large altar shaped stone' is believed locally to indicate location of church (see- www.limerickdioceseheritage.org).
Westropp recorded the following details about Kilteery Church; 'Kailtyry, in the Manor of Leamkail, 1336 (rental); Kilteery on the west angle of the parish, 1657 (D.S. (B) 14); Lisrady, or Lisready, Church, near Kilteery, in Connelloe, 1667 (Limerick Terriers, P.R.O.I., No. 41). Site - Forgotten in townland.
