The National Monuments Service's description
Located in the SE corner of a walled garden on the lower terrace. A small, irregular bullaun stone (dims. 0.32m x 0.24m x 0.14m). It has a hollow (diam. 0.15m; D 0.04m) on its upper face. The bullaun is positioned on top of an upright architectural fragment (H 0.55m; Wth 0.18m) which has carved barley twist decoration on its surface. According to local knowledge, the architectural fragment (LI007-010004-) was moved here from King’s Island in Limerick city.
