The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight N-facing slope, on poorly drained pasture with good views from NNW-N-E. Depicted on the OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped enclosure. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 1999 and described as a subcircular-shaped raised area (24m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by the remains of a levelled bank (Wth 4.1m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.3m) from NE-E-S-W-NW which is reduced to a scarp from NW-N-NE. The entrance is not apparent. The interior has a N-facing slope. Visible as a partially tree-lined monument on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
