The National Monuments Service's description
The precise location of a medieval watermill belonging to Annagh castle (LI006-068001-) within the townland has not been identified. The 1654-56 Civil Survey of Limerick recorded that John Ryan of Annagh was the owner in Annagh 'of land with a Castle two Orchards and a mill seate' (Simington 1938, 6)
