The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland, in SE corner of a field, immediately N and W of a narrow stream. The townland boundary with Grange Upper lies 75m to NW. No archaeological monument depicted at this location on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. A raised oval-shaped area (approx. dims. 30m NW-SE x 26m NE-SW) delimited by field boundaries at SE is depicted on the 1897 OS 25-inch map. Visible as a scrub covered earthwork in SE corner of field on Digital Globe imagery taken 2011-13. Google Earth imagery taken 28/06/2018 indicates that the boundary in the SE sector of the field has been removed and the area is shown as scrub with no clear evidence for any enclosing feature.
