The National Monuments Service's description

In grassland, this is the central monument of three ringforts (LI006-039-/042---) forming a line running NW-SE for a distance of c. 200m. Ringfort (LI006-039----) lies 40m to NNW second ringfort (LI006-042----) lies 100m to SE. Monument depicted as a circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 35m) enclosed by a bank on the 1840 OS 6-inch map with a trigonometrical station marked in SW quadrant. On the 1897 OS 25-inch map the site is defined by a scarp with a field boundary adjoining at N and S with OS trig. station outside the monument to NW. Visible on Digital Globe imagery taken 2011-13 as a circular-shaped are enclosed by tree-covered bank with a gap at N which could be modern livestock entrance.
