The National Monuments Service's description
In a heavily overgrown area immediately N of farmyard and farm buildings with ringfort (LI006-038----) located 157m to the E. The earthwork is depicted as a non-antiquity on the 1838 OS 6-inch map where the outline of the enclosure is indicated with a solid line in the same fashion as the surrounding field boundaries. On this map the monument is shown as a circular-shaped enclosure the interior of which has been planted with trees which suggests that this may have been a post-1700 tree-ring rather than that of a ringfort. The 1897 edition of the OS 25-inch map indicates a circular-shaped area (approx. int. diam. 50m) defined by a scarp. The poorly preserved, scrub-covered monument is visible today on the Digital Global orthoimage taken 2011-13 with modern farm buildings and silage pit standing in S half of the enclosure. Outline of poorly preserved monument is partially visible on Google Earth orthophoto taken 19/11/2019.
