The National Monuments Service's description
On the summit of a low knoll SW of Annagh Hill in pasture. The site is described from cartographic and aerial photographic evidence only. Depicted as a circular-shaped enclosure on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. Shown as a heart-shaped area (approx. diam. 36m) enclosed by a bank on 1897 OS 25-inch map. Possible faint outline of levelled monument visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13. Curving arc of trees on W side of levelled earthwork visible on Google Earth orthophotos taken 28/06/2018 probably represents upstanding remains of enclosing bank.
