The National Monuments Service's description
No surface remains of medieval church of Killalee which probably stood in the centre of Killalee graveyard (LI005-027002-). Westropp gives the following details about Killalee Church; 'Kelilin, 1410, Kilelie de Donaghmore, 1614. Kililleene, 1657 (D. S. (A) 13). Site -Only the graveyard remains near St. John's Gate' (Westropp 1904-5, 364-5).
