The National Monuments Service's description

Ffilkins Castle described in the Urban Survey of Limerick (Bradley et. al. 1989, 262) as following; ‘This was located near St Marie's Church [LI005-017015-] in High-Street' (Westropp 1906-7, 80).
Westropp (1906-7, 81) recorded the following details; Mr. Ffilkins Castle near "St. Marie's Church in High-street" (CS p. 52).
