The National Monuments Service's description

One of two stone plaques on the Sexten vault in the graveyard (LI005-017016-) of St. Mary's Cathedral (LI005-017015-) described in the Urban Survey of Limerick (Bradley et. al. 1989, 324) as following; ‘Plaques in the Sexten vault. In the churchyard. Two plaques, one showing a pelican in piety, the other a seven headed dragon.’
