17th century graveslab in St. Mary's Cathedral (LI005-017015-) described in the Urban Survey of Limerick (Bradley et. al. 1989, 323) as following; ‘Grave slab of John Wools. 1673. Fragmentary limestone slab between the 1st and 2nd pier on the north side of the nave. Incised Roma lettered inscription: HEERE LAYETH/ IOHN WOOLS/ [16]73
