17th century memorial stone in St. Mary's Cathedral (LI005-017015-) described in the Urban Survey of Limerick (Bradley et. al. 1989, 321) as following; ‘Bernard Adams. 1625. Limestone monument on south wall of the chancel, above Bishop O’Dea’s tomb. Painted inscription in two compartments

VIDIT SOLOMIS, AT OMNIA VANA/ SUFFICIENT GOD DID GIVE
ME, WHICH I SPENT;/ I LITTLE BORROWED, AND AS LITTLE
