The National Monuments Service's description
On low-lying ground, in pasture, overlooking the River Shannon approx. 2km to NE. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Enclosure (LI004-016----) lies c. 155m to SW. Identified as an enclosure on aerial photography (OS 740, photo 0685). Monument is visible as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark (approx. diam. 34m) on Google Earth orthoimage taken 19/11/2019.
