The National Monuments Service's description
Discovered prior to road construction (Excavation Licence No. 00E0430). Located immediately to W of a Bronze Age enclosure (LH024-063----) and just N of a cemetery (LH024-054----) and cremation pyre (LH024-055----). Consisted of an annular ditch (average Wth 0.4m; D 0.45m) with an external diam. of c. 9 m. Finds recovered included pottery, flint, possible slag and burnt and unburnt bone. (Chapple 2003, 267)
