Excavations prior to development of an extension of the Penny's store at Meat Market Lane in 2003 (Excavation Licence number 03E0823), uncovered a small barrel-vaulted medieval cellar (int. L 3.65m N-S; Wth 2.5m). (Clarke 2006, 331-2)
