The National Monuments Service's description

Quick/Plunket slab, 1589, made from a rectangular piece of limestone and situated to the S of the church. The Quick and Plunket arms are impaled on a panel and it has incised lettering on the margin.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (entry 958) (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
