The National Monuments Service's description
Excavations at the S end of Dominic Street (Excavation Licence 96E0160) revealed an E-W aligned section of quay wall. It was over 1m thick and was constructed of mortared stone (pers. comm. Eoin Corcoran (Archaeological Consultancy Services Limited), 2002).
