The National Monuments Service's description

An 8m wide trench was excavated as part of the Termonfeckin/Baltray Sewerage Scheme (Excavation Licence number 03E0273). A possible house site and a number of pits were uncovered. Finds included large quantities of prehistoric pottery sherds. The excavator suggested that this may possibly be part of a larger area of settlement. (Quinn 2003; Quinn 2006, 334)
