The National Monuments Service's description

'Cave' marked on ASI field map (1966-7) at this location. An ASI field report (dated 11 October 1966) for the enclosure to the SE (LH022-016----) noted a 'depression' to the W of enclosure. This 'depression' possibly indicates the presence of a souterrain.
