The National Monuments Service's description
Discovered prior to road construction (Excavation Licence No. 00E0282). A spread of burnt stones and charcoal (max. T 0.15m) was observed in a narrow trench dug for a telecom cable under the motorway. The site was not excavated but instead sealed below a raised motorway embankment. (Campbell 2002, 17)
