The National Monuments Service's description

Originally the upper stone of a rotary quern, it is set in ground inside the S wall of the S church (LH021-062004-). Previously, it rested on a stone inside the W doorway of this church but it was moved to its present position when broken by vandals. It is a small roughly rectangular stone with a circular hole through its centre. There is also a semi-circular hole along one edge.
