Situated on a fairly level landscape with a small W-E stream just to the N. Aerial photograph (GB89.A.35) shows cropmark of an incomplete enclosure defined by two fosses, bordering small stream, and adjacent to a possibly related field system. The enclosure is also partly visible on Digital Globe (2011-13).
