The National Monuments Service's description

Discovered prior to road construction (Excavation Licence 99E0200). An irregular shaped pit (max. diam. 1.25m; D 0.08m) filled with a mid brown soil which contained frequent flecks and occasional lumps of charcoal. (Seaver 2000, 220)
