The National Monuments Service's description
Archaeological test excavations carried out in 2003, prior to construction of an extension to the Girl Guides premises in O'Carroll Street (Excavation Licence No. 03E0753), uncovered two pits and a ditch all of which contained animal bone and medieval pottery. (Duffy 2006, 324)
