The National Monuments Service's description

A slight knoll was pointed out as the site of a 'fort' in 1966. The site is in average land and commands an extensive outlook. No visible remains noted at ground level. Possible traces of circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) defined by a fosse visible on OSi 1995 orthophotos http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,693821,785445,6,5 [Accessed 21 June 2012]
