The National Monuments Service's description

According to local information gathered in 1967 by Peter Danaher (ASI) this field was called the 'Liss field'. This suggests there may have been a ringfort-type enclosure here although it may be confused with the enclosure to the S (LH017-061----) which is visible on an aerial photograph (CUCAP AJY 38). It was also claimed there was a 'cave' in the field (LH017-062002-).
