The National Monuments Service's description
Discovered prior to road construction (Excavation Licence No. 97E0475 ext.). An burnt spread (11m x 8m) was initially exposed and excavation of this uncovered a trough, two hearths and two pits. (Ó Drisceoil 2000, 219-20)
