Used as hood moulding stoppers on the window of church (LH015-004001-). The E window has an additional one just above the apex of the pointed arch. Although the window frames themselves are much later insertions, the carved heads are undoubtedly late medieval. There are a total of seven heads, two each on the S and N windows and three on the E. They are quite plain with flat heads and characteristic bulging eyes, which in Ireland are associated with the late medieval period. Only the one situated over the apex of the arch of the E window is different in that it is more cherub-like and has hair on the top of the head. The others all appear to be bald and have very pronounced brow ridges. (CLAJ 1942, 107).
