The National Monuments Service's description

The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007

This unclassified tomb was destroyed between 1959 and 1964. Corcoran's plan (PPS 1960, fig. 9) indicates a gallery, orientated NW-SE, about 6m long and 2m wide. These measurements correspond with those in the OS Memoranda for County Louth (1939, A/96a/134). The gallery walls were represented by two stones at the W and three at the E.
