The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a rise on a gentle NE-facing slope in a field known locally as The Mashings. The top part of an upright stone (original H c. 1.5m) has been broken off but the stump (dims c. 0.38m x c. 0.3m; H c. 0.6m) is still in situ with the top part beside it.
