The National Monuments Service's description

Excavations in advance of a proposed residential development (Excavation Licence No. 04E1641) uncovered a shallow grave-cut containing a single inhumation burial orientated E-W. Additional human remains recovered from the ploughsoil around this grave indicate the presence of another disturbed burial in the immediate vicinity. No further excavation work was carried out. (Walsh 2007, 266-7)
