The National Monuments Service's description

Uncovered during monitoring of top soil stripping prior to the development of the technology park (Excavation Licence 98E0440 ext.). Consisted of a hearth (L 1m; Wth 0.7m), surrounded by nineteen stake-holes. A large pit was situated to the W of the hearth which contained sherds of Bronze Age pottery and to the N were two more pits one of which also contained Bronze Age pottery. (McLoughlin 2000, 213)
