The National Monuments Service's description

Believed to be the site of ancient graveyard and known as 'Gorry na Gorp' (Gairidh na gCorp). There is a tradition that a battle was fought here and the dead were interred afterwards on the spot. Possible cist (LH006-033003-) found here in late 18th century. (CLAJ 1931, 383-4)
