The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Circular area (int. diam. 24m) enclosed by earthen bank (Wth 3.7m, H 0.4m internally, 1.7m externally) with traces of stone facing. Entrance gap (Wth 2m) at ESE. Foundations of rectangular hut (LH005-024002-) (max. dims. 4.7m NW-SE, 3.1m NE-SW) with entrance gap at SE (Wth 1.25m) faced with large slabs, situated in centre of site.
