The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise in poorly drained pasture. Not marked on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded that, although levelled, the outline of a bank and an external fosse could still be traced enclosing a roughly circular area (diam. c. 30m). The original entrance was not recognisable. Further levelling has since occurred and the monument is no longer visible at ground level.
