The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise in pasture. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a raised oval area (c. 38m WNW-ESE; c. 35m NNE-SSW) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with a shallow intervening fosse and traces of a possible outer bank. The original entrance was not recognisable. The monument is not visible at ground level.
